ABOUT US

Don't be shocked!

Our test & tag business has emerged from establishing an in-house test & tag capability within Pro Co Stage Sound, a production audio and lighting business.

It takes a lot of gear to put on a rock show! With a large amount of electrical equipment, hundreds of power leads, and specialist 3 phase testing, we decided to in-source our testing & tagging.

Not only do we have to test our electrical appliances and leads, we also test a wide range of audio leads and data cables.

Pro Co Test & Tag can offer you cost-effective peace-of-mind for your workplace electrical compliance.

OUR TESTING EQUIPMENT

Only the best!

We use industry leading test equipment that is regularly calibrated in accordance with AS3760:2022.

We use the Metrel DeltaPAT MI 3309 BT, a full-featured, easy-to-use portable appliance tester. It operates on mains or battery power, can test Class I and II appliances, leads, powerboards with overload and surge protection, and does RCD testing.

It is internally isolated so no isolation transformer is needed when working onsite. We won't trip your switchboard RCDs and cause a blackout!

It has Bluetooth connectivity. We pair this to our Bluetooth printer for fast and easy label printing, and use the Metrel PATLink Android app to quickly enter appliance data. PATLink allows us to scan the QR codes we print on your tags when we return to test your appliances and leads at the next inspection.

We use custom printed labels that are highly durable and contain tear resistant synthetic stock. Our labels will not fade in sunlight and are ideal for most environments including those in direct sun light and heat. The label size is 99mm x 43mm.

We use high density polyethylene labels for new-to-service appliances that will require testing and tagging at a future date.

We use RCD tags for recording trip time and current and test details for portable RCDs.

We have specialist equipment for testing 3 phase appliances and leads.

We use Metrel ES Manager Software to manage and export test results.
